Halal certification bodies are also going through this natural cycle and moral decay is manifesting with the passage of every day, such as contacting with halal certified clients of other certification bodies, luring, and instigating them towards themselves through greed etc., which is Haraam and illegitimate act according to shariah. To alarm about this weakness, an article has been prepared to draw attention towards it so that the accreditation bodies, certification bodies and the industry affiliated with the halal sector could know how ugly this act is in the eyes of Islam and what is the status of the organization being involved in this crime in the eyes of Shariah? Pakistan’s Halal Structure

Consuming Halal is obligatory for a Muslim and when he becomes responsible for the other Muslims, feeding and providing them with Halal foods also become his liability. This chain of liability when reaches at state level, the state becomes responsible to feed its people with Halal foods. As a result, the company was forced to change the product’s name and the news went viral on social media. We were saddened to learn that there were even Muslims consumers who mocked JAKIM for their stance and it is indicative of the masses’ ignorance regarding matters of Halaal and Haraam. Thus, a decision was made at a weekly juristic) FIQHI( meeting at the Shari’ah Research Department of SANHA Pakistan that Mufti Sayyid ‘Arif ‘Ali Shah would prepare an article regarding this matter and – Alhamdulillaah – He has prepared an extremely beneficial article called “Giving […]
